CIP 150101 (ARCA)

The Computer Aided Drafting certificate prepares students for advanced levels of Computer Aided Design (CAD) within industry, utilizing the latest hardware and software releases. The certificate can be completed within one year. This certificate prepares students to perform 2D and 3D design within CAD and other CAD-related software.

Program Requirements

Major Courses (13 credit hours)

AEC 1200 - Print Reading Residential/Commercial 3 Credits
CAD 2220 - Revit® Architecture 3 Credits
CAD 2221 - Advanced Revit Architecture 3 Credits
CAD 2694 - 3D Scanning and Modeling 4 Credits

Elective Courses (3 Credits)

Choose one of the following:

CAD 1110 - SketchUp 3 Credits OR
CAD 2660 - 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing 3 Credits

Total: 16 credit hours
